Welcome!

Here are some details to know for your 1:1 package.

  Welcome!

Hi there! Erin here. I am so excited to get to work with you, and humbled to be a small part of your healing journey. This little packet goes into a few more details on our sessions, what to expect during our time working together, and some more information about me!

  Initial Session

After you complete all of your forms, you will be able to schedule a 90 minute initial session with me using Practice Better. Please be sure to fill out your New Client Intake Form and 3-Day Food Journal completely prior to scheduling your initial session. We will be going over your health history, current health status and main complaints, and get to know each other better during this first call. Be prepared for lots of questions, and the more details you share, the better! Gathering this information face-to-face allows for the team to put a complete health history together to make the best decisions regarding further testing and protocols to implement. Usually, we do not make recommendations in this initial call since we don't have all the information we need to do so. Please upload any previous lab work that is relevant. (Please label all uploads appropriately so it is easy to refer back to lab value information.)

  Follow-Up Sessions

After our initial session and determining if and what further testing is needed, we can continue to schedule follow-up or results review sessions. Generally, the schedule is to meet every other week, but there is flexibility in this schedule depending on need! Please note, though, that all sessions for four month packages must be used within 4 months and all sessions for six month packages must be used within 6 months.

  Communication

You get access to me via messenger on Practice Better as part of your 1:1 package. Feel free to ask any questions or give updates throughout the week, but most of the questions and updates will likely be discussed during our next meeting. I respond to all messages within 24 hours.

Please give at least 4 days for any lab work or test results to be reviewed. It is, of course, fine to upload the results at any point, but please be mindful that we cannot review lab work that has been submitted right before an appointment since our schedules are full! It is always my goal to respond to any new information intentionally and integrate it into your bigger health history, and giving me time to research and develop a plan of action makes me able to do so!

You can expect a Report of Findings after your initial session, Results Review session, and Final Session. I will send appropriate session overview notes as needed for follow-up sessions, too.

  About Me

The Facts:

  • Master's Degree in Human Nutrition with an emphasis on Functional Medicine from The University of Western States
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from University of Minnesota Duluth
    • Need to know how to sheer a sheep or show a cow? I've got you covered!
  • Currently pursuing a Certified Nutrition Specialist Certification
  • Hormone Healing RD team member since August 2021

I am honored + humbled to work with everyone who crosses my path, so thank you for allowing me to help you! I am passionate about meeting people where they are on their healing journeys because I believe that health looks different to each woman. I pursued nutrition because I love food and I wanted the science behind how food worked that didn't come from social media or a two-week certification program. This passion was further fueled by the desire to move away from diet culture and embrace a mindset of abundance in all areas: health, food, and joy.

When I am not nerding out about the most recent nutrition research, you can find me on the back of a horse! I am a proud born and raised Minnesotan but relocated to Florida for a job in the horse world. I am blessed to work both of my dream jobs, but when I am not working you can find me reading, writing for my blog, cooking, knitting or crocheting, playing tennis, hanging out with my bunny (Feebs), or studying + practicing how to be a better follower of Jesus.
